We took part in the annual Rotary Charity Walk on Sunday 18th May. We set off on a canter but that soon slowed when people realised exactly how far we had to go. We had fun spotting the goslings and cygnets along the canal.People began to have sneaky rests by pretending to feed the horses in the fields or to pat someone’s dog. We had a well earned rest that included the eating of cakes and ice lollies. The last part of the walk was downhill which no-one seemed to mind. A big thanks to all who took part and for raising £211 to go towards our Big Day Out in the Summer to Lightwater Theme Park.
